Ghana mourns once again. It's sad to see precious lives being lost in our country. We are experiencing death on the regular but these sad incidents involving death with some of our celebrities is very appalling and very sad.
Ghana has lost member of parliaments, top government officials and many other persons to natural deaths and also attacks. These times are not normal times. Death is on the rise and we need to remember our precious departed souls. Corona virus which has taken the lives of many has once again been responsible for the death of one of Ghana's treasures.
Popular Ghanaian actress and female comedian, Maame Hawa popularly known as Madam Hawa has been reported dead in the late hours of today. She had recently been suffering from corona virus for the past few months. She had beaten the virus but was alleged to be suffering from some diseases aside the corona virus.
A recent trend on social media features fans who are wishing her farewell and mourning her. As corona virus still stays with us, let's not take the silence and the diminishing broadcast on its effect for granted.
She was reported to be suffering from diabetes for some years now but became more serious due to the covid conditions.
May her soul rest in power.
